MY GOD IS A HEALER

MY GOD IS A HEALER
BY: RD.BENNO OLA TAGE

Humans today are moving to achieve a dream for those who are studying and looking for a job, to maintain and improve the quality of life for those working, good housewives, workers, employees and professionals. For those who have problems either with health, relationships, economics and politics, missed the recovery. This is the face of life in cities and villages, on the beach or the mountains.
Most of us are in a state of unpleasant and tragic. So the complaint that arises is this life weight. This is not a complaint but sigh a breath of modern man who raised human suffering throughout history, both in antiquity, modern times, as well as thousands of years ahead of us. We learn, and work, we complained in agony. What all of this means for the believer?
This complaint is formulated with a very touching in the first reading this week: "when I go to bed, then I thought: when shall I be awake? But night long stretches, and I gripped anxiety until dawn. My days go by faster than the piston, and the end without hope (Job 7: 4, 6). Yes life is futile, and all were brought under the heavens in vain (Pengk.1: 1-11).
The creator of man to know us and know the most tragic conditions that will be experienced by his creation, man. A mother and father will not let her children late in the grief and suffering, especially our Father in heaven. Jesus was sent to recover the man of suffering and sorrow.
Events healing of Simon Peter's mother-in-law, healing the sick and demon-possessed by Jesus (Mk.1: 29-39) is the sign of a very real, that the futility of our complaints heard and experienced by the Lord, as the cries of the suffering of the child will be bitterness parents and siblings.
Gospel today awaken the heart and love of God in every person who suffers in any form. We have been baptized and we have believed in Christ, the healer and savior of us, then find we interpret and face suffering not like people who do not believe in Jesus or not believing in Him. Our suffering into a letter of invitation to enter the house of the Lord for our lives, and the present recovery, as Simon Peter's mother-in-law ill bring Christ into his home.
The word of God on the day dispel complaints, fumed, detraction and anger from our lips over our suffering or our loved ones. Speech decent launched our mouth is a prayer: God shows me the way to deal with adversity every day of my life so I still have faith and hope in the love and mercy.

LIVE RENEWAL
Renhar spiritual cafe
You would never sick, whether it's physical pain, psychological, or spiritual pain. You also never made a mistake, whether intentionally or unintentionally. Therefore in Mea culpa we say, "I confess ...., that I have sinned with thoughts and words, with deeds and omissions." Sometimes thoughts and words are not in line with real action. The point is, no one is perfect.
However, God calls us to be perfect as our heavenly Father is perfect (Matthew 5:48). That is, God calls us to continually renew themselves. Let us not continue to dwell on the bad old habits.
All is clear. You must be renewed with the ill treatment. Lonely renewed with the assistance and encouragement. Healthy continues to maintain a healthy life renewed. And that is wrong and sinful renewed to repentance. We must confess our sins before God. Recognition is the way to restore our relationship with God. Because even if we are faithless, He remains faithful (2 Tim 2:13). "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1: 9).
It becomes a process toward holiness and perfection in God. Lepers in today's gospel came to Jesus. He wanted his life renewed by His power (Mk 1: 40-45). He came to the right people. Now, he has been cured (clean) and a normal life like the people around him. The update has changed the history of his life. He became a "herald" the saving work of Jesus in the midst of the world (verse 45).
Physical pain can be cured with treatment. Spiritual pain can be healed through repentance. Both require action, namely "go". Physical ill go to the doctor. Spiritually sick to go to church to pray, confess and Holy Mass. Lepers have given a concrete example with real action, to go to Jesus.
Lepers were really experiencing physical and spiritual healing. We also have more courage again to come to Jesus for the salvation of his experience. With Jesus, and in Him, we experienced a renewal of life. (Willy)
