LIMITATION IS NOT MEANT TO DEFENSE

LIMITATION IS NOT MEANT TO DEFENSE
  BY: RD. SEBASTIANUS EKA BS

The joy of two disciples on the road to Emmaus was unbearable to immediately tell. They hurried back to Jerusalem. None other not because they want to quickly talk about the experience of their encounter with Jesus.
Jesus met them in the past is not Jesus, but Jesus was real at the time, that it is true that Jesus died on the cross but also is Jesus really rose from the dead and return them know.
Tells the story of Jesus' encounter with the experience of a story that would give preoccupation. But in keterasyikan it may be precisely make us complacent until no longer familiar with Jesus himself. That event Gospel today. They are very fun to tell a story, to the point that when Jesus was come they just do not know anymore.
Humans are still within the limits, though not always realized. This limitation is often became for us a weapon for self-defense or self-justification us. Though getting these limitations we put forward and a means defense will only further restrict ourselves or even hinder us to grow to be better again. The result? We become people who are arrogant and a liar. One side we consider yourself someone so close to God because of frequent prayer, but it still maintains hatred toward others.
Faith in God leads us to dare to 'go beyond' boundaries or limitations us. To get out of this limitation precisely we must dare to be aware and repent, as the invitation of Peter and John in the first reading. From there we begin again to direct ourselves to obey God's life so that God's love made perfect in us. Congratulations start again.

BELIEVE EVEN NOT SEE

This Sunday we are entering the second Easter Sunday. Memories and celebration of the risen Christ is a celebration that is always held every Eucharist we celebrate. Because that's how it should happen, and happen. Thus the mystery of the work of salvation will always be an integral part to the life of the faithful or the Church.

Indeed, we received was bread / host very simple. But in such a form that is very simple or that we receive the living Jesus. Quite often appear discussion or even demand that people be welcomed not only the Body of Christ, but also the blood of Christ. For it is indeed a variety of arguments can be put forward. But let's get back to the core of our faith, namely that we receive the Body of Christ. Christ we receive it too is Christ living, not the dead, and remained in the dark tomb.

In the living body of Christ was that blood flow remains in unity we receive. We did not see him naked eye. But with the eyes of faith is we became believers. By faith we also acknowledge that we receive is really the body of our Lord Jesus Christ. So true faith will guide us to understand, comprehend and appreciate.

Let us ask that the Holy Spirit is always overshadowed us, so that by faith we are increasingly guided to understand, comprehend and appreciate. So it's not that we like to call on the Church, but dare to give themselves and act for the sake of the Church.

Easter Sunday the Catholic Church as a day dedicated to celebrate the Feast of Mercy. Through the movement of devotion to the Divine Mercy, we are invited to increasingly surrender to Jesus as the only mainstay in our lives. Although invisible, but we believe that Jesus is the Way, the Truth and our Life.
"Blessed are believed although not see" (Jn 20: 29)
