LET'S WATCH "SOEGIYA "FILM

BY RD. BENNO OLA TAGE

In the first week of June 2012, Soegiya Film will be screened in cinemas Indonesia. Living the Catholic Weekly, May 27th, 2012, in particular presents "Movies Soegiya" became the main dish. In this dish Soegiya told about the life history, his struggle and the story of movie making. Soegiya Who is he? Soegiya who was born in Semarang with its full name as  Mgr. Soegiyapranata Albertus SJ. Mgr.Soegiyapranata is the first indigenous bishop in Indonesia. He was appointed bishop by Pope Pius X11 in 1940.

Mgr.A. SJ Soegiyapranata not only as a bishop for the Catholic Church in Central Java. But he was a national hero. Services traces of his contribution to the independence of Indonesia can be read clearly in the history of the nation writing. Some cities in Indonesia choose to name Sugiyapranata road, including the city of Medan. Jl. Archbishop that is behind Jl. Diponegoro actually means Archbishop Sugiyapranata.

Mgr.Sugiyapranata SJ is a man struggling for independence along with his companion Karno. He struggled to remove bad image that says  Catholics and Christians do not support the independence of Indonesia. Christian is a supporter of the Netherlands and does not want independence for Indonesia. However, Mgr. Sugiyapranata SJ said that the Catholic Church is not part of the Netherlands. And Catholics are not part of the Dutch state. His writings are well known: "one hundred percent Catholic and one hundred percent of Indonesia. ....DETAILS

ACCEPT THE HOLY SPIRIT

On that first Easter evening, Jesus appeared to the Apostles Self. Directly Jesus breathed on the apostles and said: "Receive the Holy Spirit (John 20:22). They do not show signs already received the Holy Ghost as they stayed in the room above, "for fear of the Jews" (John 20:19-26).
Fifty days later, the apostles, and more than 100 people gathered and prayed, "then they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit was given to them to say '(kis 2 : 4).
Why did the apostles receive the Holy Spirit at Pentecost, but not the day Jesus rose from the dead? "Holy Spirit educators who avoid deceit and silly thoughts dijauhinya" (Wis 1:5).
Maybe the first day of Easter the apostles are not honest with themselves about sin and fear. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth (John 16:13). We must be sanctified by truth to receive the Holy Spirit (John 17:17).
If we are honest with ourselves, we realize that we do not want to receive the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit is God will not accept orders from us, that God may do. But instead, he will receive so that we do His will. This attitude makes us closed to the Holy Spirit, because we do not want anyone even God to tell us what we should do.
We must honestly face the resistance of the Spirit within us. There is no other way unless we repent of our selfishness or self-love. Let us make the decision to open itself to want to do God's will and not our will. So our hearts and our lives will be filled with the Holy Spirit. THE ROLE AS WELL AS INFLUENCE OF INTERNET AND SOCIAL MEDIA
IN THE PARISH FAMILY LIFE

BEWARE ......!
BY: RD. SEBASTIAN EKA, BS

So far, I always imagine that a person who wears thick glasses is a professor. Or at least he is  an old and well-educated person and holds a certain extent of degree. But that day I am very surprised to see a group of elementary school age and even children in kindergarten  have to wear thick glasses. Impelled by curiosity, I asked, "Thick glasses ... once, read many books like it ...?" Another friend yelled, "No ... because they are playing their games ..." It's a phrase I never imagined before. "Play the game to the point of wearing thick glasses?" So the question arises in my heart. Quizzed had inquired, it turns out they have been accustomed to playing online games from the internet.

So it goes. Because of the Internet, early-age children already have to wear thick glasses, like a professor whose head is bald shiny, glittering alias and slippery. Though they have not reached the age of teens. Pity really. Indeed, when we are at an early age, enjoyment of certain things can bind in such a way. This pleasure can be against things that are positive but otherwise well-directed negative things that it would be more closely.

Children who tend to play games can last for hours in front of the computer. Moreover, the name of the internet online game typically provides the challenge and offer an increasingly exciting. That's what makes our kids could stare for hours, but when reminded to study and pray they are just sulking.

Today, On this communication day,  each of us is reminded to be wise to utilize the facilities or with good communication and media directed to the ....DETAILS

LIKE LOVE

BY: RD. VERY ARA

For Christians, the doctrine that emphasized the love of Jesus is nothing new. Even the definition of love is written in His gospel has been memorized by rote. Only, in the Gospel of John, given the basic teachings of loving others "that ye love one another as I have loved you". The question, "How did Jesus love or cherish us?

As I love you, not because you are good, holy and sinless. If God loves us when we are good and true, then anyone among humans certainly would never enjoy the sense of His love. God's love is different. In spite of human sin, God's love never changes. All his actions are powerless redemption sticking it connected with the sin and love. Where there is sin, there the love of God seemed to bloom.

With still love Asonta, Mrs. Sianipar embody the words of the Lord: As I love you. Asonta still loved fishing odd and even-tempered emotions.

Recognized that loves a good person or good for that person's easier than loving someone who does not like. Moreover, the crime directly harms someone and brings disaster upon us.

There are parents who with a firm stance to break with his son because his son acting strangely, so and so. Or conversely, there are children who vowed  not to make it up to her parents because certain things are painful.

There is a leader in office who hates his subordinates because he is an evil. His fate as well as his rank are never considered. There is a teacher or student or professor who hates students. Consequently, their value is always ugly so it always fails. Jesus asks us to love each other, like I love you. Humans who believe in Him would do the opposite, "As you love me!.

CALL AS THE GIFT OF GOD'S LOVE
By: RD Tripomo

The Fourth Easter Sunday, April 29, 2012  is determined to be the Day of Prayer for Vocations to the 49th. We pick up and reflect on the theme: CALL YOU AS A GIFT OF GOD. We are grateful that there are so many young people who have been called specifically to become priests, monks and nuns. But we also feel that we still need more and more people who are called for this special vocation.
So, today we are all citizens of the world's Catholic Church were invited, was invited to pray specifically for the call. While praying we encourage our children, provide an atmosphere in order to create situations that allow them to hear God's call.
Bishops, Priests, Parents, who are always responsible for the growth of the seeds of the call either through family, formal and non formal education through various means and ways. In addition we pray, we also provide an appropriate input, true that the young people are deliberately free and consciously to choose a particular way of life. Sometimes we realize that our children are less willingly we are called special. Sometimes we deliberately do not tell them that there is a chance to answer a special call, sometimes we fail, sometimes we are indifferent.
I feel very happy as a priest chose to live as a priest. I felt God was calling me and I try to respond. As a priest I tried earnestly to live the life of the priesthood and also trying to live the good life to holiness because we are all called to be holy. Harvest a lot, but the laborers are few (Matthew 9:37, Luke 10:2). Until now we have it. let us pray, let us support the called and chosen. Let's be God's chosen people. Let us give thanks for calling it God's grace. Praise the Lord.
In today's Gospel illustrated that our Lord is the Good Shepherd. He also invites us to  become the shepherds (pastors) good (bonus). A good shepherd cares for his sheep. He will seek the lost sheep or lost. He will get his sheep back bnersukacita, repent. He will fight against the wolves that threaten wild flock. He will also drive away the thieves are not responsible for the sheep.
Jesus the Good Shepherd, he promised salvation, eternal life, resurrection with Him. As Jesus was sent by the Father, so now he sends us all. Us with any shortcomings selected and sent by God specifically to work in His vineyard. ....DETAILS

Ana is a manager at a fast-food restaurant. One day she was informed that there are volunteers who will help him. He was taught on how to prepare food, clean the kitchen and even told that ordinary carelessness, recklessness made, such as throwing food and ignore the working procedure. She enjoyed being with a good and diligent volunteers that. Several days later, Ana gets a call to headquarters. And how shocked she was when she came to know that the volunteer  is the owner of the company. For a moment he felt very scared, remembered of her stupidity on revealing her indiscretions. Unexpectedly, the "Big Boss" turned out to appreciate the kindness and offer solutions to her carelessness, recklessness she made. How glad Ana, and heart-felt she was determined to do better in the company's.
Dear brothers and sisters, what happened to Ana (Undercover Boss TV program on BBC Knowledge) may be able to describe the feelings of the hearts of the disciples of Jesus. When they learned he had risen, they are afraid of remembering them were unfaithful to run even when the teacher needed help. However, when Jesus appeared to them, the word of Jesus is "Peace be unto you" (Luke 24:36). Jesus did not eat in front of them and give the light of the Holy Spirit so that they understand the whole mystery of Jesus' life on earth. The disciples became convinced that Jesus is alive, risen Jesus, Jesus is physically present and communicate with them.
Brothers and sisters, let us ask that sometime in our lives, we are given the gift of God is addressed in a personal experience in daily life. So that with undivided hearts, we become witnesses of His love and forgiveness (PS). ....DETAILS
