MAKE LIFE MORE LIVELY
BY: FATHER JODDY TURNIP, PR.

The story of Mary and Martha always bring inspiration to our daily lives. The Gospel of Luke describes Mary sat at Jesus' feet and quietly while listening to him, while Martha was busy themselves with a little grumbling because he saw her just sitting. Busy Martha, Mary sat. Brief look contradictory. Marta looks active work because he moves a lot, while Maria looks passive because he only sat listening. We could be tempted to assume that the people who keep moving is the active or industrious, while those who are silent passive or lazy, when in fact we can find a different understanding of the moving and stationary.
Are you a diligent or lazy? Do you think that you are diligent as it continues to move or move? In the natural sciences there is a theorem called the law of inertia says that an object is said to be lazy or inert object if it is constantly moving and do not want to stay still or continuous still and would not move. This understanding was about to declare that the person who is constantly moving, working and willing to move without stopping for a moment or silence also include people who are lazy. Keep moving is a form of laziness, although it's apparent laziness or sloth hidden.
Is a good thing that we are constantly moving and working all day. But give a moment to sit at the feet of Jesus and listen to Him as did Mary. Surely Maria also knows when to work every day, but when he visited he did not want to concern themselves with domestic affairs. Maria just want to concern themselves with hearing talk of Jesus coming into their homes.

FAREWELL GREETINGS - REMEMBER ME IN YOUR PRAYS
By: RD. Benno Ola Tage

Every mother witnessed the birth of her son into the world. All of us are aware that our life in this world begins with us through the birth of the coming events. But only Martin Heideger that put the concept of man in his philosophy by saying that man, "Sein zum tode," which means that human existence is existence towards death. Heideger Martin's reflections still bounced back in my mind  9 years ago when I first met with the Cathedral Parish Council Medan. In my diary on June 2, 2004, after a few days became parish priest, I inscribe this reflection: I was a pilgrim. Solidarity with the people of the Cathedral there is a time line: before-being and after. 'And our meeting is the way to separation. There will be a time of "being", that's where I am now as a priest in the Cathedral "after," means the time will come when I am no longer a parish pastor the Cathedral. "

Reflections on 9 years ago is now no longer a picture of future vague. Archbishop of Medan has determined that the date of 10 July 2013, I was relieved of my duties as a parish priest Cathedral and simultaneously I was assigned at the new place. This separation into reality and I have left the people of the Cathedral, the environment, various categorical groups, families, church officials: community prayer, districts, and parishes.

TRUE
When I reflect on today's reading habits reminded of the time undergoing pastoral orientation. Every time a person wants to travel to the station or the environment, I never forgot my wallet. If you had forgotten, the heart is not quiet and therefore I will take the wallet back. Of course in addition to the letters the vehicle, the more important it is money in your wallet. Money it is a precaution which knows motorcycles damaged or need repair in the middle of the road. Sure, some times there is damage in the middle of the road and not in vain bring money. But such incidents are rare. Strangely, I was not brave to travel if there is no money to keep watch.
If the requirements in today's gospel is applied for preachers today, I doubt if there are many people who survive considering the facilities are complete, ranging from home, communication equipment, vehicles and much more. Actually, Jesus was not particularly expecting to implement the requirements of the so-called reporter literally true. With requirements indicated it would herald the qualifications required of the all-out, all-out are not bound to anything and rely on the Lord and humbly want because God is working.

So, although the facilities now enjoyed by so many preachers are not automatically not a true journalist. Conversely, lack of facilities is not a guarantee to be a true journalist. Reality look of seriousness makes the task of preaching to the utmost. Lack of facilities and various relations remain good as far as not binding. But when it is bound to facilities and relationships that are not healthy it is no longer a true journalist. Last seen in the attitude authenticity rely on God

DECISION & CONSEQUENCES
Motor trishaw or the so-called Beca Bermotor: "Only him and God know when he wants to turn," is an inscription on the T-shirt depicting some of the realities on the streets of Medan. Ornament in dress shirts TSB apparently pushed a bit "mystery" when in conjunction with traffic and motor beca - let alone that do not use signal lights turn left or right, we are there behind were forced to guess, where does he want at every intersection is passed or in any gaps / remaining hallway during a queue of vehicles. Or we must also be wary of when he suddenly swerved back and infiltrate like lightning sneak in a narrow hallway is left in front of our vehicle and his confidence seems so tough that makes timeless sense of guilt.
When Jesus and his disciples entered into a village, someone said to him, "I will follow you, wherever you go!" Jesus replied, "Foxes have burrows and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay your head His. "Then Jesus said to one another," Follow me I! "But the man said," Let me first go and bury my father. "Jesus replied," Let the dead bury their dead: but you, go and proclaim the kingdom of God everywhere. "There are also others who say," I want to follow You, Lord, but first let me say goodbye to my family. "Jesus said to him," Everyone is ready to plow, but looking back, it is not feasible to the kingdom of God. "

JESUS WHO IS HE FOR YOU?
When there is a form of electronic messaging sms only appears no HP alone, generally we do not meperdulikannya. Especially when the message is just an advertising or promoting something, or news that has nothing to do with our interests. But, when it seemed to relate to us, then we immediately inquired from whom the message and check the truth. And in fact there are stuck, sms was just the beginning of people who want to dredge the property or our money. Indeed, it is often the case in years past, hopefully not at the present time.
Thus, we as humans, are more likely to respond to the things that if it relates or an impact on our lives alone. As long as it has nothing to do with our lives, then we do not care about that.

SENSITIVE OF HIS LOVE
"His sin has been forgiven much because he has loved much. But those who are forgiven little, a little too he did you "(Luke 7:47)

If we look at Jesus' words above, we can suppose that the Saints were certainly a lot of sins! As human beings, all the saints have a lot of sins, but not because they are sinners weight, they become holy. However, because they have a lot of love.

We all do a lot of sins, and most people know it, while others do not. Love that makes a person very sensitive to sin! The more we love God, the less we sin, but we are increasingly aware of sin. "Therefore I tell you that a lot of His sin was forgiven, for she loved much (Luke 7:47)

During the appreciation of our religion that is based solely conduct and violating a list of sins, allowed or not, busy with moral rules - although this needs ---, we are not aware of the many sins we have done. But when we have a relationship or a personal relationship with Jesus the Savior, then at any time or situation is an opportunity to love or otherwise reject you! For example, Nathan who reminded David that it is God who anoints, save and bless him until then. Then Nathan stated David sins. Aware of the love of God, David admits: "I have sinned against the Lord" (2 Sam 12:13).

Let's imagine how much Jesus loves us. He is truly miserable and died for us personally. Let's see, how many blessings we have received to date? As we begin to feel the love of God, we suddenly realize that we have not thought about God for three hours, has not told me anything about him at lunch, alone or together, let fear quench the Spirit at work. When we pray, we are not sensitive to His love and His presence always encourage us anytime and anywhere! Let us ask Jesus to pour out His love into our hearts (Rom 5:5). And repent. EUCHARIST IN THE CATHOLIC CHURCH AND  IN THE PROTESTANT CHURCH
(WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE)
By: RD.  Benno Ola Tage

When we visit the Protestant spiritual shop, most likely we will see the bread and wine on display there. Bread form was not too different in shapes, colors and materials with which we receive holy communion in the Eucharistic banquet. Similarly with wine, but it can also be just as different quality. The bread and wine used in Holy Communion in the Protestant Church.
If there is Holy Communion in the Protestant Church, then what's the difference with the bread and wine in communion Eucharist Catholic Church? In the catechesis of the people, on the feast of the Body and Blood of Christ on this day, we will briefly describe the difference.
The meaning of the eucharist in the Protestant Church is very different from the meaning of the Sacrament of the Eucharist in the Catholic Church. These differences lead to differences in the meaning of worship procedures, views and the way to host and wine in the celebration. For Protestant church, Holy Communion is remembering the Last Supper of our Lord Jesus Christ. As they celebrate their communion remembering, remember, what ever made by Jesus and His disciples before the Lord Jesus went to the garden of Gethsemane. So the holy communion in a Protestant church is no different with or simulate events dramatize communion of Jesus and his disciples. Surely they uses Bible verses to justify this understanding. In the Protestant church, Holy Communion is memoria (memory).
Since I've never attended a Protestant communion in the Church, then I do not know how to worship ordinances and the communion ordinances.

What about the Lord's Supper or Eucharist in the Catholic Church? Holy Eucharist in the Catholic Church is not the celebration of the Last Supper in memory of the Lord Jesus. Holy Communion is the celebration of the Lord's Supper the Lord Jesus present. This is called the realist presence: Christ is present in the banquet it was real. A very real presence in the body and blood that we receive in the form of holy communion. Thus the Holy Communion (Eucharist) we call the Eucharist as well, meaning a tangible sign of the presence of the Lord Jesus.

In communion, we were really welcoming and the body of Christ. We do not treat the host's merely as a symbol, in which we behave as they pleased us in welcoming the Body of Christ and in the store.
Based on this belief on the Lord Jesus from the Gospel of John chapter 6. As described on the following verse "Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood, he has eternal life and I will raise him up at the last day (Yoh.6: 54). Apostle Paul then pass on the bread of the Word of God: not the cup of blessing which we bless it, is the communion of the blood of Christ? And the bread which we break, is it Christlikeness communion of the body (1 Cor 10:16). Whoever eats the bread and drinks the cup of holy saints unworthily, shall be are guilty of the body of the Lord (1 Cor 11:27). We must admit that the bread is the Body of the Lord (1 Cor 11 : 29).
If it was not the body of the Lord, why the Apostle Paul reminds us of this?
Thus cursory description of the differences between Holy Communion in the Protestant Church and the Sacrament of the Eucharist in the Catholic Church.Let's well wish  the Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Christ. ....DETAILS
